1. Information we collect
1.1 User account (optional)
If you choose to sign in with your Google account, we receive your user identifier, name, email address, and profile photo to create your account inside the app. Signing in is optional: you can use most of the app's features without creating an account.
1.2 Content you save
If you sign in, you can save articles and mark radio stations as favorites. We store this information (article title, category, and thumbnail; station name and basic details) tied to your account, so we can show it to you when you use the app again.
1.3 Usage and analytics data (Android only)
On Android devices we use Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used: screens visited, searches performed, categories viewed, and radio plays. This information is aggregated and does not directly identify you. This feature is not yet active on iOS.
1.4 Advertising
We use Google AdMob to show ads (banners and interstitials) within the app. Google and its advertising partners may collect device identifiers (such as the advertising ID) and other technical information to show relevant ads and measure their performance. In the European Union, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, we ask for your consent before showing personalized ads through a consent form (Google Funding Choices/UMP). On iOS, we also ask for your tracking permission (App Tracking Transparency) before using your advertising identifier. You can review your ad preferences at any time from Contact → Ad options inside the app.
1.5 Push notifications
If you allow it, we send push notifications, for example about featured news. You can turn these off at any time from your device's notification settings.
1.6 News content
The app fetches news and radio station information from our website (radiofeyalegrianoticias.com) through a public API. This exchange does not include any personal data about you.
1.7 Information we do NOT collect
We do not request or access your GPS location, camera, microphone, or contacts. The radio stations map shows the fixed locations of our stations, not your location.
2. How we use your information
- To provide the app's features and sync your saved articles and favorite stations.
- To improve the app by understanding which content and features are used most (Android).
- To show and measure ads that help keep the app free.
- To send you notifications if you enable them.
- To respond to your contact inquiries.
3. Who we share your information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:
- Google Firebase (authentication, storage of saved content, analytics on Android) — privacy policy.
- Google AdMob and its advertising partners (to show and measure ads). You can view the list of partners and manage your consent from the app's consent form.
These providers process data on our behalf and under their own privacy policies.
4. International transfers
Google and its providers may process information on servers located outside your country, including the United States, subject to applicable legal safeguards.
5. Data retention and deletion
We keep your account data (saved articles, favorite stations) for as long as your account remains active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by writing to info@radiofeyalegrianoticias.com; we will process your request within 30 days.
6. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. No system is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Children's privacy
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.
8. Your rights
Depending on your country of residence, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or object to the use of your personal information. To exercise these rights, write to us at info@radiofeyalegrianoticias.com.
